You prayed. You followed. You obeyed.

Doors are closing. Answers aren’t coming. Nothing looks like what you pictured.

📉 When Life Doesn’t Match the Promise

You may know the promises of God:

“Plans to prosper you...”
“He works all things for good...”
“He will never leave you...”

But what do you do when it doesn’t look like that?

Abraham waited decades for a child. Joseph was thrown in a pit before he got to the palace. David was anointed king—but had to run for his life.

God’s plan was still at work—even in the detours.

Just because it doesn’t make sense to you doesn’t mean it’s not strategic to Him.

🤯 Your Confusion Doesn’t Cancel His Calling

Faith isn’t about seeing the whole picture—it’s about trusting the One who does.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways.” — Isaiah 55:9

When God’s plan doesn’t make sense:

That doesn’t mean you missed Him.
That doesn’t mean He’s punishing you.
That doesn’t mean it’s over.

It might mean He’s doing something deeper than you realize.

1. Be Honest With God

You don’t have to fake faith. Say it like David did:

“How long, Lord? Will You forget me forever?” — Psalm 13:1Then hold on like David did: “But I trust in Your unfailing love...” — Psalm 13:5

2. Stop Leaning on Your Own Understanding

You won’t always “get it”—but you can still go with Him. Let go of control. You’re not the Author—He is.

3. Remind Yourself of His Track Record

He’s never failed. Every time you thought it was over—He brought beauty from ashes. Remember what He’s already done when you’re unsure of what He’s doing.

🌱 Growth Often Looks Like Pain Before Progress

Sometimes what feels like delay is actually development.

You don’t see roots growing underground—but they’re there. You don’t feel your character maturing in the silence—but it is. God isn’t just preparing the promise—He’s preparing you for it.
