I Saw That!

You know that one Jesus meme? The one with Jesus paired with the text "I saw that"? It was meant to be a funny play on Jesus'/God's omniscience. However, the meme is actually true. God is watching. He see's everything so learn to live with virtue and integrity every day.

“The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.— Proverbs 15:3

God sees everything you do-the good and the bad. When you do good to others he sees you and smiles. However, when we act unrighteously, we hurt him.

Sins cannot be hidden, even when no one else is around:

"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." -Hebrews 4:13

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand..— Isaiah 41:10

God's omniscience is not a curse, rather its a great gift. Since he sees us at all times, he also sees us when we are in need. And he will support you and comfort you and give you strength. He also knows everything about you so he understands you deeply and knows exactly what you need, when you need it.

So the challenge today is twofold:

1. Next time you are tempted to sin, even in secret, know that God is watching.

2. Pray to God and ask him for exactly what he thinks you need-pray this and see what happens.
